| McCumber Golf Academy
The opening of the McCUMBER GOLF ACADEMY launches a premier junior academy in northeast Florida. We are located at GOLFPLEX, the Hayt Golf Learning Center, on the University of North Florida campus in Jacksonville, Florida. PGA Member John Berardi is the Academy Director and Director of Instruction.
 We offer a variety of programs
for juniors:
- 9 month after-school program, with options of 2 - 4 days a week.
- Developmental program for players who want to play and compete in tournaments.
- 3 hour Saturday program, designed for beginners to average players who want to develop solid fundamental techniques and on course experience.
We also offer a variety of
Adult programs:
- Group instruction
- Supervised practice sessions
- 3 days a week.
- A once a week Ladies Only group.
- Corporate and Team Building Packages
Private Lessons and Lesson Packages
1 and 3 day Golf Schools for up to 8 people. Tour Professional Mark McCumber will be on hand (based on his schedule) to give a clinic and meet with the Golf School students.
The McCUMBER GOLF ACADEMY will provide superior instruction with a focus on fundamentals, short game and scoring techniques. We emphasize on-course strategies - routines, mental awareness and a plan for each round.
The combination of the GOLFPLEX state-of-the-art facility and quality instruction enables students to improve all facets of their game, making playing more enjoyable and fun!
